Briefs

...

Exhausted, as usual, but finally picked up the new meds, so I will try the Ambien just before my head hits the pillow. Is there a chance I will wake up feeling refreshed, instead of bushwhacked? I hope so.

DD has Fifth's Disease, or rather, the rash that appears after you're not contagious anymore. She had no other symptoms, but she's got this rash from head to foot.

I finally made my Al Ford page, and sent an email off to the curator of ASU asking her if they want the collection. I think DH would be very happy to get it out of the house!

The Princeton Review audition/interview went very well. They loved the bear project. Now I just have to wait and see if they accept me into their training program... wait wait wait. I hope to hear from them soon.

My paying-work project goes Alpha on Monday! Yikes. Very limited release. I have a boatload of work to do -- all of the help, the FAQs, more web pages... we do need to get that stuff nailed down.

My 3rd column,Making Success Possible -- Stock up! appeared in today's issue of LCL Magazine. I am ticked because they changed the email address to this bogus "joan@lowcarbluxury.com" thing, not the makeitlowcarb@cox.net address they kept for the first column. That first column generated some nice letters and good content, and I wanted to continue that trend. I have a feeling I'm not going to see any feedback or questions, good or bad, from that column. I don't think there's anything I can do about it, either.

I did not fold the laundry.

I did go to Mervyn's after my interview and bought a nice skirt with 2 tops that match, for Easter.

I also made steak on the grill for dinner, my timing was perfect (not). I had the grill preheating and the weather was gorgeous. I went outside to scrub it down and noticed the omnious clouds coming. Just as I put the steaks on, the wind really kicks up. Rain as I flip the steaks. Just as they were done, a dust storm pushed through. Lovely, really lovely.

But the steaks rocked anyway.

Watched a new ep of "What Not To Wear" on BBCAmerica, and both Trinny and Susannah are pregnant! Whoa. That was a shocker. Trinny with boobs! Hee, she's usually flatter than I am...of course they still both looked fab.

Time for bed!
